LEADERSHIP TEAM
We are a team with many years of experience in evaluating and preparing Italian, European, and international projects.
Mauro has been a jury member of the EIC in the H2020 program and has performed consulting functions for other programs funded by the European Commission. He now serves as an evaluator for the Swiss development agency, Innosuisse expert, tasked with selecting the best research and innovation projects.
Mauro Andriotto 
Former European Innovation Council Jury Member
Mauro has taken multiple roles during the years as expert of the Executive Agency for Small and Medium‑sized Enterprises, as jury member at the European Commission for the EIC (European Innovation Council) and expert consultant of the EIT (European Institute of Innovation and Technology) with a total budget 2020-2027 of €95 bln. He has approved and valuated projects for funding up to €17,5 mln in a single ticket.
He is the founder and CEO of AFS and EDSX and an equity partner of the SMC family office. As a leader in the financial sector, Mauro is specialized in crypto finances and internationally recognized as one of the leaders in blockchain and Security Token Offering (STO).
He is a professor of Corporate Finance and Enterprise Risk Management at SDA Bocconi, University of Pisa and University of Genève – UBIS and the former quantitative leader at EY for the South of Europe. He proudly sits in different international Advisory Boards and is the author of multiple scientific publications in finance and risk management.
Rocco Di Filippo
Grant Proposal Specialist
Rocco is an expert in risk assessment and asset integrity management in the fields of natural hazards and industrial plants. His PhD studies and research activities were funded by several EU research projects in the framework of the Horizon 2020 program.
He has experience in theoretical and experimental research and grant elaboration/project management for EU institutions and private investors. His current research grant at the University of Trento is funded by a regional private bank.
He has been a member on the board of directors of the University of Trento, assessing and planning a €200 mln budget for research and investment programs. He is the author of international scientific publications in risk assessment end experimental studies.
